General Information:

 

Before joining a translation agency in 2014, Axel Striebeck was an M.A. student at Ruhr-University Bochum. His research focus is on foreign and security policy in East Asia, especially the United States’ “pivot” towards Asia-Pacific (papers and presentations, internship with the USA / Transatlantic Partnership program at the German  Council on Foreign Relations) and North Korea’s nuclear program / the situation on the Korean peninsula (article in Trends East Asia, several presentations and papers during B.A. and M.A. studies). He has also repeatedly worked on the Tibet issue in presentations and papers during his M.A. studies.
